Mike, Katherine and I all went to John and Noreen's house for Easter dinner. Of course there was a boatload of food.

Michael went to Megan's house to have dinner with her parents. Alas, Jamie and Nicky had to work but I brought home leftovers for them.

On a sad note, Bill broke up with Katherine. His mother and sister told him he's an idiot. I agree. He'll never find a girl like my daughter, and I'm not just being partial. I feel so bad for Katherine. This came as a real shock. There were reasons I'd rather not put here in writing, even though no one ever reads this.

I just hope it means someone better is in her future. As far as Kat and the two younger boys, I think we have to get of Long Island for them to have any luck in love. It's just too  isolated here. Michael got amazingly lucky with Megan, but girls like Meg and Kat are few and far between.

Other sad news: two acquaintances of Mike and me have died recently. My bil's ex-wife died of complications from MS and our friend Lee died after a bad fall. Both stories are too shocking to deal with.
